The Bike Rodeo is ON!
Updated: Jun 26, 2019
Partnering with the Foundation for Youth and the Columbus Bike Co-op, we will be offering a Bike Rodeo! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 26th from 2:30 to 4:30 at Foundation for Youth (405 Hope Avenue). Your kids can take on our obstacle course-style challenges to practice skills for safe bicycle use. Children cannot be expected to already know many of the things that, as adults, we consider to be instinctual. This is a great opportunity because your child can practice how to navigate unsafe situations in a safe environment with us at FFY. Traffic cones will take the place of real cars in our hypothetical scenarios, but the skills your child will learn are still genuine.
We ask that you bring your own bicycle and helmet for two reasons:
Practicing with your own equipment is better than using someone else’s, especially when it comes to helmets. Not all equipment fits everyone the same way!
We will not have enough for everyone to use, so bringing your own ensures your child will get to participate.

See you on July 26th!
