Bike Month: Active, healthy fun for everyone
Updated: May 7, 2019
One of our favorite months of the year is here – BIKE MONTH! This Bike Month, there is something for everyone – for all ages and for every skill level. We encourage you to participate in one of the events on the calendar, and more importantly, to get out and be active this month! For those of you who don’t or can’t ride a bike, we have several events for you as well.
This year, we are happy to report that you will be able to ride a ColumBike for FREE from May 1st to July 31st, thanks to a generous donation from SIHO Insurance Services. Our bike share program, ColumBike, is a wonderful service for our community, so we encourage you to take advantage of this great promotion and try a ColumBike during Bike Month (May) and in June/July! By using the promo code 417, you'll be able to ride free for 2 hours without checking in. See Columbus Bike Co-op's blog post with all the details.
Some key dates to remember are: Bike to School Day is May 8th, Handlebar Happy Hour is May 9th, Bike to Work Day (and Cummins Bike to Work Day) are on May 17th and the Positivity Path Lunch & Ride and the Big Bike Month Ride are on May 22nd.
